Our Family Calendar

The year Troy was born, Dens and i surprised our parents with a 2009 calendar of their new grandchild. I did the layout and Dens did the printing. It was a meaningful personalized present for doting grandparents and even some close family and friends.

I have been busy the past 2 years and was not able to prepare the same anymore. My mom cherished the 2009 calendar and kept on replacing the dates by cutting out the months from other calendars. She did this for 2 years.

This year i was determined to set aside a day to work on a new calendar that would include our daughter.
I included a Bible verse for each month which i try to memorize during my free time.  That way, i would have memorized at least 12 Bible verses at the end of the year.

I kept the layout this year simple to better appreciate the pictures and verses. It was a really easy project that i finished in half a day.  All you need is a little creativity, basic photoshop skills, and someone who can print the calendars for you...and you're all set.

Try it next holiday season or even this Valentine's day.  It's so much fun to do and the recipient will surely appreciate your effort.

Here's to 12 months of peace and joy!

This is nice! esp. if you're counting the months until your a baby turns 1.. :) I love the idea!

Yes, it's very simple to do and you can ask someone to print them. We did one again this year :)
